I’m glad you posed this question, Heather! I was just pondering my own resolutions for 2018 and am sure others are too. My personal goal is to learn how to use tampons during my period – it might seem funny, but I had the procedure in September of 2016 and have been able to have penetrative sex since October 2016, but I still haven’t gotten comfortable with using tampons. For whatever reason there’s still some anxiety there for me that I want to overcome in the coming year.

To anyone reading this who wants to overcome their vaginismus and is afraid to start that journey, know that 2018 CAN be your year! All of us on the forums have dealt with vaginismus in some way and are so happy to be a source of support for anyone who’s afraid to take those first steps.
